Hindu Temple of Rochester will be celebrating the 2nd Sarva Devatha Brahmothsavam 7/26/2020 - 8/2/2020
Hindu Temple of Rochester will be celebrating 2nd Sarva Devatha Brahmothsavam, an 8-day event with each day dedicated to one deity. The event will commence with "Dhwajarohanam" (hoisting of flag) and will end with "Sayanotsava" (culturals). This year we plan to have the "Utsava Sevas" (parikramas) of the deities in their respective Vahana's. We invite you all to join with family and friends to seek divine blessings and make this another successful event.
Considering the impact of COVID-19 on devotees, community, and temple's financials, this year's Brahmotsavam takes even more significance for entire community to come together to enthusiastically participate in this beautiful event and offer prayers to all deities for our collective well-being and peace.flyer
Safety of devotees and community is of paramount importance.
Temple will be rigorously following the then effective NY State guidelines and recommendations for COVID-19 (for social distancing, number of devotees allowed in the prayer hall, Temperature recording etc.), including during Havan's and Utsav's. To that effect, there will be few changes to Brahmotsavam proceedings from last year. Our Pujari ji and EC is confident of your full support in following these guidelines that will be communicated prior to the event.
